Today, Oribetty of Pacific Supply,taught me an interesting walking aid for stroke patient.
Please watch this video at 0:35.
I think that it is an interesting device.
However, I have a question whether the position of the device is right there or not.
I think that the power source of the device that assists the flexion of hip joint of a patient with stroke hemiplegia should be the same as the original muscle as much as possible.
…Like T-support.
HAHAHA！
Various walking aids for stroke patients are being developed.
I can hardly meet the machine that is really effective ...
By the way, Yamamoto-kun who is a friend of mine and a researcher at Hiroshima University is trying to develop a new training machine for hemiplegic patients, and I am a cooperative researcher.
And, that research plan has become to get the 1.5 million yen research funding from the mazda foundation.
Someday, I think that it would be a wonderful thing that if Yamamoto-kun commercialize the new robot from this research.
Apart from that, we have to offer better gait training to the extent we can today.
This is a scene of the gait evaluation of stroke patient who Tsukamoto-kun is in charge, which I did today.
Because the knee flex, it is difficult to extend the stride.
If we change the way of assistance, it will be like this.
It is very simple and very effective training.
