Today, I also helped the gait training of the stroke patient in charge of Minami that I introduced on this blog several days ago.
This patient is affected by misalignment of the midline axis, especially alignment is distorted markedly in the stance of the lower limbs of the nonparalyzed side.
Therefore, we used a machine to measure foot pressure, and carried out training to feed back foot pressure information in the standing position on the front wall and feed it back in real time.

Although it was difficult to correct the alingment of non-paralyzed side up to now, yesterday and today's two days, it is now possible to correct posture at the time of the motion.
I usually do not make detailed feedback to correct the alingment of a stroke during gait, but I felt that such an approach is sometimes effective.
